How to Use a Nuovaluce LED Mask and Microcurrent Device

PublishedUpdated

A practical Nuovaluce routine for LED masks and microcurrent devices, including clean-skin preparation, conductive gel, session timing and comfort checks.

LED masks and microcurrent devices do different jobs in an at-home routine. An LED mask is a hands-free light session. A microcurrent device moves across the skin and requires a conductive gel. The safest way to build either routine is to identify your exact model, begin with clean skin, and follow that model’s timing and mode instructions.

Before you start

  1. Confirm the model. Check the product name on the device, packaging, or user guide. Do not borrow settings from a different Nuovaluce model.
  2. Read the included instructions. Treatment time, modes, and controls can vary by device.
  3. Begin with clean skin. Remove makeup before a device session.
  4. Keep the session comfortable. Lower the intensity or stop if anything feels painful or uncomfortable.

How to use a Nuovaluce LED face mask

  1. Start with clean, dry skin unless your model’s instructions say otherwise.
  2. Fit the mask comfortably and connect or charge its controller as directed for your model.
  3. Select the mode described in your user guide. Do not assume that colors, wavelengths, or programs mean the same thing across different masks.
  4. Use the model-specific session time. Nuovaluce guidance describes short, repeatable sessions a few times per week, but the exact timing belongs to your device instructions.
  5. After the session, remove the mask and continue with your normal skincare routine unless the guide says otherwise.

See the current Nuovaluce LED Light Therapy Face Mask and LED Max Light Therapy Face Mask listings to identify your model.

How to use a Nuovaluce microcurrent device

  1. Clean the treatment area and remove makeup.
  2. Apply enough Silver Conductive Gel to keep the area wet and slippery. Do not use microcurrent on dry skin.
  3. Start at the lowest comfortable intensity.
  4. Use the mode and movement pattern shown in the instructions for your device. Keep the device in contact with the gel-covered treatment area.
  5. Work in sections and reapply gel if the skin no longer feels wet and slippery.
  6. Finish the session at the model-specific time, then continue with your normal skincare routine unless instructed otherwise.

Some targeted Nuovaluce routines combine about five minutes of microcurrent with about five minutes of light therapy. That is not a universal schedule. Check the guide for your exact device, including the Nuovaluce Anti Aging Max.

How often should you use either device?

Follow the instructions supplied with your product. Many Nuovaluce routines are designed as short sessions a few times per week. Consistency matters more than adding extra sessions or extending the timer beyond the model-specific guidance.

Comfort and safety checks

  • Microcurrent may produce mild tingling, gentle muscle movement, or a lifting sensation when enough conductive gel is used.
  • Light therapy may feel gently warm.
  • Stop or lower intensity if treatment is painful or uncomfortable.
  • If you have a medical condition, an implanted device, are pregnant, or are under dermatologic care, ask your physician before use.
